Personal Philosophy

Human thoughts

Technology is a psychological thought that could help improve society, or a individuals life.

Can a personal philosophy be a piece of technology?

For example, religion can create a psychological positive emotion that can cause a human to feel loved and protected.   Religion also benefits the human mind by contradicting negative thoughts when a person is asking for forgiveness.  God is always looking out for us; without his mercy, life wouldn’t be worth living.

Showing empathy to others can help escalate the psychosomatic mind in becoming a happier person.  At times, I always forgive and forget issues that are caused by someone else that impair my self-being.  My forgiving actions increase my happiness dramatically that I tend to realize how petite the problem was; thus, I increase the stability of my mind altering diminutive issues.

Having a clear life purpose can benefit your philosophical thoughts because you will have a clear outcome of your future penchants.  Having a clear life purpose can benefit the human mind in many ways.  First, you are planning ahead and visualizing parts of your life that haven’t existed, and deciding whether they’re beneficial in your future journey.

Your social life can also increase the happiness in your life.  If a person is anti- social their conscience becomes stable in thinking you’re alone in the world.  This problem then escalates to having love issues and bonding with people that love you.   Epicurus once said “Attain a happy life characterized by fear surrounded by friends.”  This quote justifies the existence of happiness that occurs when companionship is involved in a persons life; therefore, improving their happiness.

Our ability to identify a sense of self in relation to other phenomena increases our physical existence.  Discovering who you really are can help guide the person in identifying our real existence in life.  Without a sense of self-relation, a person can’t realize their true meaning then they start loosing control; causing them to become suicidal.

Socrates once said, “Ordinary people seem not to realize that those who really apply themselves in the right way to philosophy are directly and of their own accord preparing themselves for dying and death.”

Heart Grove Hospital

this is how the rooms looked

this is how the rooms looked

This is kind of personal but I was once in a mental institution home called “Heart grove.”  I had a sleeping disorder that caused me to wake up in the middle of the night and try to hurt family members.  I knew I wasn’t crazy because I was aware of  what caused it.

Ever since I was a child, I was separated from my parents and was raised by my grandma.  The reason why we were separated was because they used to work from 6a.m. to 9p.m.    Sadly, my parents are still working those hours and the only time I get to see them is when I go home after your class; by the time I get home they are sleeping and to tired to converse with me.  I know they work hard for our family, and I do not blame them.

I am now a grown man and I sleep on the floor in my parent’s room.  I do this because I miss them so much and I feel like we are together as a family.  Whenever I sleep alone it becomes difficult because I know my family isn’t in the room and I feel depressed.  This is where the sleepwalking occurs because my dreams are about finding my family while they are searching for me.

I’m not crazy please don’t think that, all I ever wanted was a family.

At the hospital, I was taught a variety of things that involved sleeping skills, and a better way to deal with depression then just popping pills.  I was helped in the are of gaining knowledge and opening my mind to psychological emotions I thought I wasn’t capable of.

The Matrix

Matrix

Matrix

A cool movie I saw was the Matrix.  This movie has a lot of cool scenes of people reacting fast to certain things.

I believe the movie was about an outer dimension that was invented by a hacker to control the world back at home.  In the movie an actor states, “”I’d like to share a revelation that I’ve had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species. I realized that you’re not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You move to an area, and you multiply, and multiply, until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet, you are a plague, and we are the cure.”

The most important scene occurs when Neo decides to eat the red pill, which then leads to his wakening from the Matrix. With this scene, the Wachowski Brothers send an important idea within philosophy that has been a part of the discipline since its foundation living.  Most people accept things as they come, but they don’t question why they occurred the way they did.  Some people are optimistic to certain things, and don’t realize the harsh consequences that occur once a negative situation occurred.

The quality of Neo is real significant.  He is trying to save people that are living in a false reality that society made them believe.  This theme can be compared to religions that are diverse like Christianity and Buddhism.  Another theme in this movie is the codes. They can be religious symbols that can be a hindrance to the savior of humanity, but instead the symbols refer to some sort of control.

Guns, a deadly piece of technology!

Weapons

Weapons

Goverment officials should make a  law banning guns, or only entitled for those who are in the military or serving their communities!  They should make this law because some people are not capable of owning procession of a firearm.

In Recent news, a manic that suffered from schizophrenia invaded a movie theatre in Colorado killing 12 people and injuring 56.  Out of those 12 people, there was a little girl about the age of 3.  The man who committed this tragic crime is, James Holmes.  Holmes is now incarcerated and fears that the death penalty will be used against him.

During the scene, Holmes was armed with 2 handguns, a rifle, shotgun, tear gas and chemical mask.  He said he purchased these weapons easily, and was given the license to own them.

I am trying to emphasize how our government allows individuals to own exotic weapons with no limits.  If more qualification were required when receiving a weapon, the rate of murder crimes would decrease because only certain citizens will be entitled to own a weapon.

A reason why guns should be banned is because people are killing innocent citizens for excessive reasons.  For example, the Travyon Martin case, this case involves the murder of a young man who was killed due to police brutality.  This example shows how guns give people a feeling of power, in which they believe there entitled to use it in any circumstance.  This is absurd! Even those in higher responsibilities are using weapons in a pointless way because they are given the right to use it when they believe they are in danger.

In my opinion, weapons should only be allowed for individuals who meet more requirements then age and criminal background. This will help decrease murders and make the environment a better place to live.

iPhone 5

iPhone 5

I was sitting on the park bench in a sunny after-noon watching the chicks play volleyball.  I was sitting there for about half an hour reading the book Finding the moon in sugar, while waiting for a ride.  I put my book down, and then suddenly a man appeared.

He greeted himself and stated his name; I did the same.  He was an interesting person about 22 with light colored skin. He then sat down as we both enjoyed the view of the fine women playing volleyball.

We than began to converse about cell-phones because I mentioned how I wanted to buy the new galaxy.  I wanted this phone because it was said that it could beat the iPhone’s processor.  I explained to him my opinions on why wanted that phone, and he burst out with his views.  He explained to me how he was doing an investigation on Apple and found out how they are planning to reveal a new version of the iPhone in early fall.

X then started explaining the new features that this model well have.  It will have a new docking system, a new design and a longer lasting battery.  I was then convinced to wait for the arrival of this phone. A great feature this phone is capable of is 3D projection; instead of watching videos of your screen, you will be able to project them off a wall. This will benefit me because I will be able to share information with others in a new creative way.  The phone will also be a hotspot for Wi-Fi enabled devices.  This will help me save money on my Internet bill each month for my PlayStation.

By the end of our conversation, I was convinced in purchasing the new iPhone 5 because; it seems to have more features than the Galaxy.  I ended our conversation by saying, “ hey do you work for Apple or something.”  We both started to laugh as we shook hands, and departed away.

Computer Investigation

iMac

I always needed a PC to help me with school. It will help organize my notes, and help build a better structure in my work.

It was a warm summer night when I did research comparing different products.  I visited many web sites that offered a variety of Pcs to purchase.  I than proceeded to make a web diagram to compare and contrast different products; I ended up with two choices, the IMac or windows XP.

The iMac has specs that blew my mind.  The website everymac.com published the following,   “The Mac configuration is powered by a 32 nm, 64-bit Intel Core i7 “Sandy Bridge” processor with quad cores (four independent processor cores on a single silicon chip). Each core has a dedicated 256k level 2 cache and all processor cores share a single 8 MB level 3 cache. This “Core i7″ processor supports Hyper-Threading (it has two threads per core for a total of eight threads for the system) as well as Turbo Boost 2.0 (the system can dynamically increase the processor clock speed to 3.8 GHz when tasks demand). This model supports four 4 GB modules — one in each slot for a maximum of 16 GB of memory. However, third parties have discovered that it actually will support 32 GB of memory using four 8 GB modules. This model has a 27” glossy LED-backlit 16:9 widescreen TFT active matrix display with “IPS technology” and a native resolution of 2560×1440. Apple also reports a viewing angle of 178 degrees horizontal and 178 degrees vertical. The contrast ratio is 1000:1.”

This desktop fit the requirements I was searching for in a computer, and offered many more features then its competitors.  For example, the 27-inch glossy LED screen can be compared to Retina display.

Windows did not even stand a chance!  They offered fewer features, and smaller body specs for a price close to the iMac.  Windows also needs spyware protection that needs to be bought separately. The money you waste in buying accessories for Windows, cam be money will spent on Apple.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase; the price was will worth it.  The desktop offered all my needs, and gives me a sense of desire

Whenever I turn it on.

My Liberty! (Chick Magnet)

Jeep Liberty

It was a cold November afternoon when I was driving around different dealers seeking in purchasing a vehicle. My spending budget was under $10,000 on a vehicle with 50,000 miles or less.  Many locations did not have the vehicle that fit my qualifications. I was about to give up before my father gave me the advice to search in a rural area.  I considered his advice and searched dealers in the Schaumburg area.  My luck finally answered when I approached a Dodge dealer that had a vehicle that fit my requirements.

When entering the premises I made it specific to the sales representative about my requirements on a vehicle; I also said a truck would make the deal more delightful. The face expression of the representative quickly became ecstatic as he explained to me a recent vehicle that they had purchased.  He guided me through aisles that contained fine luxurious vehicles. We then stopped as he pointed to the opposite direction of our location; I was quickly excited because my search was finally over.

I purchased a Jeep Liberty in a Schaumburg dealer with 44000 miles. My final price including taxes was  $9,574.  I was extremely satisfied with this purchase because the vehicle included 4×4, and had very low mileage. When purchasing the vehicle I tried to make the sales men negotiate a lower price; it didn’t work.  He than went on telling me how finding a jeep with low miles for the price given was a hard thing to accomplish.

2 years later, I still have my jeep… It runs magnificent, and feels as if it was a 2012.  I added an additional 25,000 but that had no affect to the way my baby runs.  I’m starting to see a little rust forming, but that doesn’t bother me because it is a 8 year old car.  The only thing I had to replace was the rear turning light. I added a 7-inch touchscreen radio, with 2 15-inch speakers.  The total investments I made for these fine accessories was roughly $700-$1000. I also bypassed the radio so the DVD player can work while driving.

I am extremely satisfied with my vehicle, and I am planning to keep it in the family.  It was the first purchase I made without my parents help; therefore, a lot of sentimental value has grown upon me.

My jeep is a chick magnet; whenever I drive it, I have problems because all of my girls don’t fit.  I simply tell them, “Ill pick you up once I drop her off.”
